Namitete Zitha FC dropped points for the second time in three games after having to come from behind thrice with fifth-placed Airborne Rangers 3-3.
Thomas Kashon helped to deal another blow to the Namitete side’s title hopes by putting Airborne Rangers ahead in the first half at Mbabzi Ground.
The hosts equalized through Pasiano Sam just after the break but Airborne added the second through Chisomo Wame to make it 2-1.
Airborne lead was cancelled again midway in the second half through Yohane Kamwaza.
For the third time, Airborne led again inside the last 10 minutes through Thomas Kashon but Pasiano Sam of Namitete Zitha FC pulled level with just seconds to go to secure a point.
But at the end it was a second game for the title Challengers Namitete Zitha who lost to Luanar a week ago.
The Namitete side has now equalled their games with leader Kawinga FC who have 47 points at the top of CRFA Chipiku Premier Division standings.
