Machinga CCAP congregation has been commended for the good work they have done in taking care of the family of late Reverend Piringu ,after his passing while serving the congregation.
This was revealed on Sunday, November 2nd, at Machinga CCAP congregation during a farewell service for Mrs. Piringu, the wife of the late Reverend Piringu, who passed away a few months ago while serving the congregation.
Representing the Piringu family, Jarvis Piringu, a relative of the late Reverend Piringu, thanked the Machinga congregation for taking care of Mrs. Piringu since the bereavement, showing great love and support.
He asked the congregation to continue praying for and visiting the family, as the good relationship shouldn’t end there.
Mrs. Piringu has since been released from the congregation and will be heading home to Balaka following the death of Reverend Piringu.
“As a family, we may depart from this physical body, but in spirit, we will always be with you in all your activities” said Mr. Piringu.
Reverend Mtuntha, representing all ministers, thanked the Machinga CCAP congregation for showing love and care to Mrs. Piringu during the difficult time. He praised the late Reverend Piringu for his selfless service and dedication to the congregation, saying the congregation shouldn’t forget his good deeds.
“Reverend Piringu was a God-fearing person who served selflessly. Your death won’t be in vain; we won’t forget your contributions to the congregation,” said Reverend Mtuntha.
During the service, gifts were presented to the family as a token of appreciation for their dedication and service.
The ceremony was attended by various ministers from Domasi Presbytery, church leaders, elders, and many Christians from surrounding congregations.
