Organisers of the Ku Mingoli Bash have disclosed that they target to attract 20 000 patrons for the July 22 music event.

Sound Addicts will on July 22 host the Ku Mingoli Bash a music event of the first of its kind to happen in the country.

Addressing members of the press in Lilongwe on Wednesday, Sound Addicts Executive Director Shadreck Kalukusha said they target to reach out to 20 000 patrons to grace the show.

“This is nothing but absolutely entertainment that will run from 10: am on July 22 to 6am the following day and we want to give music fans a treat of their life this year”, said Kalukusha.

Kalukusha has since confirmed that three international artists have confirmed they will be performing at the show.

“I can confirm here that from Jamaica we have Alaine while from South Africa Blaq Diamond is coming and just from the neighbouring Zambia Yo Mamps will be joining us. These artists will be joining our very own Kell Kay and shortly we will be unveiling a fourth international artist bust just to give you a hint that the artist will be from East Africa”, said Kalukusha.

The organisers have since unveiled comedian Nyauyu as the Bash’s Ambassador.

“I’m super excited to be part of this event and I can’t wait for the big day itself. For now I urge all my fans top follow my page on Facebook for the Bash’s updates that will be coming every Thursday”, said Nyauyu.

She has since played down fears that there might be a lapse in security at the show looking at the numbers that the organisers are targeting to reach out for the show.

“I know some people are having issues with the security if the comments on Facebook are anything to by but be assured there will be tight security at this event”, said Nyauyu.

Meanwhile Sound Addicts has partnered with Bufen that has subsidised the price of the tickets to the show as the first 2500 tickets will go out at subsidised price of K1000.

Apart from Bufen, the organisers have also partnered with Zodiak Broadcasting Station, TC 11, CP Investments, Recapo and Print and Cut.
