Relentless striker Mathews Hamuza pounced twice as Namitete Zitha FC played out a 2-2 draw against Kamuzu Barracks Reserve to move to the top of CRFA Chipiku Premier Division League.

The red hot striker continued his sensational form this season, scoring almost 90 percent of Namitete Zitha goals.

Anderson Banda almost costed Namitete Zitha any point after scoring an own goal but Hamuza cancel out visitors lead twice to secure one point for the Namitete side.

Yamikani Mtalimanja scored the other goal for Kamuzu Barracks Reserve who sits a place off the bottom.

Namitete Zitha deposed Silver Strikers Reserve who suffered their defeat of the season at Leyman Panthers.

Now it means both Namitete Zitha and Silver Strikers Reserve have collected 31 points after playing 14 games each but Zitha have a better goal difference.

Saint Chikwawe scored the only goal of the match to help Panthers move from 10th to eighth where they are tied up with Villa FC on 15 points but Villa drops down due to inferior goal difference.
