The TNM Super League outfit Dedza Dynamos has confirmed the acquisition of Blue Eagles striker Chifuniro Mpinganjira.

The 23-yead-old striker who scored 9 goals during his two years stay at Nankhaka has signed three years contract barely a day after terminating his contract with Blue Eagles.

Mpinganjira has become Dedza Dynamos second signing following the arrival of former Sable Farming midfielder Simion Singa.

Speaking after unveiling him, Technical Director for Dedza Dynamos Masa Kalamula believes Mpinganjira will bring much needed experience to the team.

“We’re happy that we have another option in our attacking department in the name of Chifuniro who has played in the elite league for over 4 season’s a clear indication that he is well experienced,” Kalamula said.

He added that he’s a young talent and they are looking forward to working with him this coming season and the season’s to come as he will provide more competition to other strikers.

Manager for the player, Uchindami Kayira thanked the team for trusting his player and promised to pay back the trust once the season gets underway.

“After the termination of his contract with Blue Eagles I was approached by a number of super league clubs but we have chosen Dedza because of their vision,” Kayira said.

After signing the contract Mpinganjira said: “This is another opportunity to get back to my best as I had a frustrating season last year and I promise nothing but goals for the team.”

Dedza Dynamos Salima Sugar FC finished 9th in their debut season as they reached the qurter-finals of FDH Bank Cup as well as playing in the Airtel top 8 last year.
