Civo United partner with Tree Business Suppliers

Civil Service United has entered into partnership with a local branding company, Tree Business Suppliers Malawi Limited which begins this season up to 2025.

The Servants General Secretary Edger Chipalanjira did not disclose the full package when making the announcement on Thursday during media briefing saying full details will be provided during official unveiling ceremony.

According to Chipalanjira, under the partnership Tree Business Suppliers Malawi Limited will be branding Civil Service United merchandise.

“Tree Business Suppliers Malawi Limited will feature permanently on personalized home and away jerseys, replicas, flags, track suits, carrier bags, and other promotional materials associated with the Club. The partnership will extend beyond the senior team team to encourage the reserve team and women’s football, showcasing our dedication to inclusivity and fostering talent across all level of the sport” said Chipalanjira

In addition, Chipalanjira said the new partner will be providing K3.5 million for individual awards to Civil Service United’s best performers.

“In a bid to motivate players and improve our team’s performance, the sponsors also thought it wise to introduce individual awards and this will begin end of this season player of the season, top goalscorer, best defender and midfielder as well as most improved player will get K200,000 each. And from next season we will be awarding K50,000 and K100,000 to Man of the match and Player of the month respectively” he added

On his part Civil Service United supporters committee chairman Mayeso Chidaya said they have introduced registration for the supporters in order to generate revenue.

“We have agreed to introduce registration for the supporters which begins now and fan will be required to pay K1000. This will help to generate something to our committee and this will also give us an estimate of our supporters” said Chidaya

Civil Service United currently lays 13th on standings with 24 points from 21 games.
