Former Mighty Tigers and Mighty Mukuru Wanderers winger, Yamikani Chester has become a free agent again after leaving the Maputo-based side, Costa do Sol after spending two seasons at the Club.

The Flames on and off attacker joined the Liga Mocambola side in 2023 as he signed a two-year contract with the team but he is not going to sign another contract saying “it is very hard to play away from home.”

“Two years feels like yesterday, Its time to say good bye with a happy face,” said Chester.

“Iwould like to thank Costa do sol for the great opportunity! its hard to play away from home but i have always enjoyed my stay with the team i will miss the bond I had with my team-mates, I wish you well.”

Chester has promised to announce his next move very soon but he is expected to be back home for the meantime following the conclusion of the league in Mozambique.

Chester failed to extend his stay at Wanderers in 2023 January after misunderstanding on the proposals made by the club and the player. The attacker was demanding a signing fee of MM7.5 Million to sign a three-year contract but the Nomads were ready to pay MK6 Million but in instalments.

The Club conceded a defeat and accepted to let the player leave the team on mutual agreement.
