Having analyzed her accusations against the SPC and the PS Energy were based on political and personal vendetta.

Knowing also the history and character of Buluma it is not surprising that she chose not to report these issues to right legal bodies including ACB because she knew she did not have substantive legal issues. Instead, she rushed to the media, spread out personal and confidential government messages in unprofessional manner against her oath. In short, her idea was to score the following points.

Buluma lied that she did not receive her contract termination letter dated 15th November 2022, but yet the letter was dully received and signed by her secretary and there is evidence to that effect.

Again, in her narration, she indicated that she had submitted her resignation letter to the Board on 16th November 2022 and yet until today, the letter has never reached the Chairperson’s office.

Her only communication was made via WhatsApp and being a seasoned public employee, she knows that such communications in government do not go through social media platforms.

Again, her narration that she had submitted her letter to the Department of Statutory Corporations (DSC) is questionable as she herself said she had been directly contacting the

Chairperson and why did she choose to submit the letter to a different office?

General observations based on the above analysis, it is clear that Buluma’s intentions were the following: she was protecting her personal interests by ensuring that her existing suppliers are maintained by all means even if it means putting the country into chaos.

Buluma is known to have been using underhand tactics to get her way out whether in politics or career wise. The script she’s playing looks very obvious. Until today she is refusing toappear in court in a case where she was cast as the main actress of deceit to falsely accuse Newton Kambala, former Minister of Energy, the Alliance for Democracy President, Enock Chihana and Chris Chaima Banda, former Chief Advisor to President Lazarus Chakwera.

Buluma is allegedly known to influence the media, CSOs, and interest groups to back her way up.

Again, she is known to have a close relationship with the PAC chairperson Joyce Chitsulo. Hence one wonders whether PAC acted in good faith or had a well scripted outline aimed at destroying Buluma enemies.

Buluma is allegedly known to boast that she ably uses her oil money to control various interest groups to sway her way including some committees of Parliament.

No wonder, her being accorded a platform by PAC her long-time friend a fellow alumnus from Kamuzu Academy Joyce Chitsulo is a call for concern.
